    It made me reinstall Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.

    Wahlberg isn't exactly the best actor around but he suits the role just fine

    hopefully this will be better then every other failure of a game adaptation to film

    I dunno, man. I will see this if not just for Mark Wahlberg. The guy rarely does bad movies and he is a dude I just like to see on film.

    Plus, if he pulled up in a limousine and asked me to run away with him, I'd totally jump into his toned arms and ride off into the sunset.

    They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger. And then it was all over.
    Life was good. A house on the Jersey side across the river. The smell of freshly cut lawns. The sounds of children playing. A beautiful wife and a baby girl. The American dream come true. But dreams have a nasty habit of going bad when you're not looking.
    After Y2K, the end of the world had become a cliché. But who was I to talk, a brooding underdog avenger alone against an empire of evil out to right a grave injustice. Everything was subjective. There were only personal apocalypses. Nothing is a cliché when it's happening to you.

    The movie appeared on the screen, like a nightmare from god. The credits were a list of the damned, parading through hell itself. Marky Mark gazed into the night like a soulless revenant. And suddenly, I had to pee.

    Shooter was alright, don't go in expecting a Bourne movie like lots of people seemed to. Shooter is about Mark Wahlberg shooting things from far away.

    I don't think I've ever seen a video game adaptation in the theater. Come to think of it, I haven't seen that many at all.

    You aren't missing out. None of them have been objectively good.

    There have been a few that reach the level of being tolerable, though.

    I need to play Max Payne 2 again

    I played the first one a couple months ago and it's still great (except for those fucking hallucination levels)

    those last couple of levels are wonderfully challenging

    Let's see, I saw Super Mario Bros. before I was old enough to have taste. Even then, I thought it was really ugly and weird.

    I saw Mortal Kombat years after it came out, and one of the Resident Evil movies. The one where you get a glimpse at Milla Jovavich's vagoo.

    Pretty sure that's it.

    I'm not a fan of the dream levels in Max Payne 2.
