Laptop screen dead + BSOD

I've had this laptop since January, it's mostly worked fine since then. I got it from Ibuypower. The last few days it has been randomly crashing some games, and yesterday the screen stopped turning on. I brought it into work and hooked it to an external monitor. Now, there are multi-colored lines or checkerboard across the screen, even before Vista boots up, and it BSOD's seconds after it hits the login screen. It's fucked, isn't it?
BTW I'm in Iraq, and it has a 1 year warranty but only from the 48 states.
