So, my back hurts near my left shoulder blade, it's been like this for a good couple of months... I was wondering if anyone knew of an "at home" remedy I can do to try and help my back.... It goes from about the very edge of the blade closest to the spine all the way around the side... And it hurts over time...
Not using the muscle is not exactly an option as it is my weak, but useful arm, generaly used to haul computers that I need t repair from a back room out to the sales floor to be worked on. The desktops are generally propped against my side above my hip... Why not use my right arm? It's my utility arm, open doors, swipe my swipe card, use keys, etc etc....
Anyways... My back hurts near my shoulder blade, what can I do to make it feel better?
I do have a massage office chair that I don't typically use, would that help at all?

2. Draw your head back so that you create a double chin.
3. Slowly roll your head as far back as it will go. As you do this motion roll your eyes back as well.
4. Slowly bring your head back up to the normal position.
Repeat this in sets of 10 until the pain goes away. This exercise is designed to eliminate negative energy in your neck, shoulders, and upper back. I learned it from a physiotherapist and it has helped me many times. I've also told it to people on these boards and they have had success with it, but it only works if you understand the directions properly.
