Cheesy, synth-heavy, epic-ish, 80's music? Europe is the answer. The Final Countdown is the definition of cheesy ass, synth heavy, 80s music. They also have many other songs that will fit the bill, but The Final Countdown is certainly their most famous.

The Final Countdown was a little too recognizable, and M83 was a bit too modern.
