Someone just asked me to install a fax machine at their office. Since our digital phone system makes this a pain in the ass, I thought I might try some kind of online fax service. However, searching for "free online fax service" on google feels pretty similar to searching for "free porn". I don't really trust any of the results. Have any of you used a service you thought was good? Free is best, but a small monthly fee wouldn't be that bad. I can't say exactly how many faxes they would get so I wouldn't want to have a hard cap. It would also have to be pretty user friendly on our end and pretty much transparent to people we might send or receive faxes from.
I've never seen one that's free. Most will charge per fax for something like 2-20 cents per fax. Your best bet is to get the phone company down and get them to set up an analog line on your digital phone system. Least amount of headaches for everyone, and probably the most cost-effective too.
