Guitar Hero On Tour DS- Worth it?

(I realized that this is probably the best place for this thread, sorry!)
I'm off on vacation tomorrow morning to my homeland of Puerto Rico (yes it's a part of the US and no it's not another country). That being said, my flight is RIDICULOUSLY long having two lay overs and a few hours in between. I pretty much leave at 7 in the morning and get there at 9 at night. I'll be armed with my iPod and DS for the sitting around and I'm wondering if I should pick up On Tour. Would anyone like to share their opinion? 50$ does seem a tad bit steep for a DS game even if does come with the guitar accessory. Also I wonder if my tapping and strumming will annoy the person sitting next to me on the plane...

Its "ok". It's clever how it was done. It's sufficient in the way it was executed.

It has a very short tracklist that will not keep you enthralled long.

Having been on a plane, if some guy busted it out next to me and started playing it, I would probably break it.

I'd buy the 2ish regular games you could get for the same price, unless you just love yourself some guitar hero.

What he said. I'd get something with more play value, Advance Wars 2, Etrian Odyssey, something along those lines. Something that you might not even finish during your trip.

I'd go with Portrait of Ruin.

The thing is I actually do love me some guitar hero, and unlike the GH's which I actually like 90% of the tracks on the DS version. I figure the game should keep me entertained for the trip there and back then pass it on to my lil sis who also loves GH. I'm a cool brother like that :D.

It's alright, but I unlocked all of the songs and grew bored of it in a couple of hours. Going with what has already been said, unless you're crazy about Guitar Hero, you should probably pass on this one.

I heard [I was looking into buying it] that it buggers up your wrist if you keep playing it for prolonged periods without taking a break. So playing through the whole game on your flight probably won't do you any good.

Semi limited setlist, slightly wonky peripheral/play technique..

I'm not saying the game isn't worth owning. I'm saying I can think of better games to provide lengthy amounts of entertainment on an airplane that won't annoy the living shit out of anyone sitting next to you in coach.

If you just LOOOOVES you some guitar hero, nobody here will be talking you out of it anyway, but for a long plane ride, there are games better suited to the surroundings that will keep your interest for longer.
