    i'm thinking of going back to college in the winter.

    take a business administration course or something.

    no degree, just like a one year college certification thing

    nowadays you gotta have some kind of post-secondary schooling to be taken seriously, a high school diploma will basically get you minimum wage jobs and that's it

    The last time I had a meltdown I punched my door hard enough to make a hole
    Also my hand was just a giant ball of pain for a couple of hours
    I stopped being pissed because my hand was distracting me

    also viv I think part of the problem is that there isn't much of a protocol for how girls should act on the internet. there's basically the negative, which is the whole "have u guys seen my pics ^_^" and...that's it. Besides that, all they can do is act like one of the guys, which is awkward for some of the guys, so, exactly like you said, they try to balance out genuine affection with ribald comments directed at the lady's gender or genderparts.

    I usually skip over the vaginal hazing but apparently that is associated with hitting on a girl over the internet (which is absurd, because when I do that in real life no one thinks i am hitting on anyone). Anyway, my point is that both genders have to make a tough decision with unpleasant consequences.

    i had a meltdown about 4 or 5 months ago that was so bad i had a seizure in my sleep thereafter!
    that was cool!
    the testing was neat, i'll give it that.

    very few jobs of that sort still exist in my city

    most of our heavy industry is gone

    basically the only heavy work that pays more than minimum wage is construction and that's only a job for like 6 months of the year tops
