Need help removing small lip balm spots from t-shirts
So I accidentally left an Avon Moisture Therapy lip balm stick in my shorts and ran in through the dryer which left small wax/oil spots on some of my good t-shirts. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a tried-and-true method of getting rid of such spots or if I should just go take the shirts to the cleaners.
Hot iron, brown paper and kitchen roll. layer brown paper then absorbent kitchen roll on your ironing board underneath the mark, then do the same on top of it:
i.e
brown paper
.................... kitchen roll
__________ t shirt
.................... kitchen roll
brown paper
sandwich, then iron. Don't use a steam setting, just cotton/linen, with no water in the iron. That should get rid of most of it (works with candle wax, too), then rub in washing up liquid (dish washing liquid) and soak for a bit. then wash in the washing machine as normal.
