I am creating a comic book parody of comic strips classic and contemporary. Right now I am writing a sequence which involves cavemen and other troglodytic characters. At present it involves Alley Oop, the cavemen from BC, Bucolic Buffalo from Tumbleweeds, the goons from Popeye and Peter Piltdown. But I need more!
Can anyone hip me to any other caveman or primitive characters from newspaper strips only? I am thinking especially of those of the loincloth variety , but feel free to suggest anyone you consider appropriate.
