Also I will also see Star Wars also.
Seriously, does anybody give a shit anymore?
Brendan Fraser, probably? Looking at the movies he's done after Mummy 2, it's not a terribly impressive list.
I haven't been excited for a comedy in a long time, but I'm certain that between these three movies I'll have a new comedy that really surprises me. or at least I'm hopeful. I'm also desperate. something actually relatively fresh would be grand.
Pineapple express might be funny. I will most likely rent it though.
I was planning on seeing Clone Wars until I watched the four minute clip, can't say I care about it anymore.
I believe it will be hitting only about 100 screens throughout the US.
The novella is wonderful and the movie looks to be faithful.
Go see it, or Vinne Jones will brain ya.
Now, Alexander Aja has been a mixed bag for movies so far. He's hit gold with The Hills Have Eyes remake, but struck out with P2, and only half pulled off High Tension. However, this movie seems to bring back the character development of Eyes and added supernatural horrors, which I am all for.
Not to mention that Keifer Sutherland has only been in good horror movies. (Lost Boys, Highway, Dark City - City is stretching it, but it had horror elements) and has been gushing about how much he liked the script and promising a good story to go along with the gore.
I hear that Mirrors is the creepiest movie of the Summer.
I haven't heard much about the Hell movie. I'll check out some info when I get home from work
All in all, I am pretty psyched at all the great movies coming out this month and it seems to have a solid horror count.
EDIT: Also Babylon A.D.
It looks horrible.
... I find your lack of including Flatliners.... disturbing....
and do you mean Highway, or Freeway? Because IMDB doesn't know what Highway is.
The point still stands.
Also, I made an error. The movie is Freeway, not Highway.
I like Jet Li.... So may force myself to watch this. But it's starting to get out of control. Though it looks like it has more action than the first two combined.
But from previews we may have ONLY seen the action parts.
2008, 2012, 2014 D&D "Rare With No Sauce" League Fantasy Football Champion!
It was a really great horror movie.
The gore was great. The thrills were great. The acting was great. The ending was great.
For $2, I am going to go see it again.
I am still surprised you were interested in it, Quid.
Screw you guys. I got three more beers to go.
you guys realize it's written by seth rogen/evan goldberg, right.
you know, the superbad team.
most of all, most of all
someone said true love was dead
but i'm bound to fall
bound to fall for you
oh what can i do
However, Vinny Jones deserves my money, and I will travel across land, air, and sea to see this thing.
Edit: Also, forgot to add that Ryuhei Kitamura DEFINITELY deserves my money. I hope this doesn't dissuade him from making more movies here =/
Weaboo List
Also, Tropic Thunder will probably be decent.
I hope it bombs in a spectacular fashion.
It only made 6mil over the weekend.
Costner put 20mil of his own money into producing this stinker.
Ouch.
