that right there is the telescope i have, if you go down to the customer reviews, it pretty much sums up my problems with it, now i had two ideas, one would be to modify the existing mount to add fine tuning to the altitude axis, but that seems difficult and i risk damaging the existing mount, my other idea was to remove it completely from the existing mount, and to build my own. I've seen a few designs online, but nothing with detailed instructions. I'm not looking for anything complicated. just something that would allow me to control my telescope more easily. there are a few reasons why i don't want to just go out and buy a brand new telescope 1) the cost 2) this one has sentimental value, and there are more reasons i don't wish to go into. eventually i will get new eye pieces. but i guess i should get to the point...

*****TLDR;
does anyone have any guides or tutorials or detailed plans on building a alt azimuth telescope with fine tuning controls (or something to that effect) for a reflector telescope?
