According to 1UP.com, apparently Squares big present to Playstation 3 owners in order to "Swing it back Sony's way" is going to be a playable FFXIII demo...available with the Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete.
May I be the first to say "Whoopie-Freakin'-Do".
I mean, don't get me wrong, I would love to play the demo when it comes out, but it seems somewhat weak when compared to the E3 news that FFXIII was not longer exclusive to the PS3. SquareEnix saying that Playstation owners get a appetizer first is nice, but it's not quite the news I think everyone was hoping for. Plus, whose to say that a X360 demo won't be released in the future.
Also of interest
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII appears to still be Playstation 3 exclusive...for now;
- Final Fantasy Agito XIII will be making an appearance on on the PSP as well as mobile phones;
- Parasite Eve The 3rd Birthday will also get a PSP release in the future.
What dose everyone else think? Remember, the event is still going on, so there's hope (although faint) for a big-ass "OMGFFVII" announcement.

So for now, just sit and wait. They obviously have lots of people werkin' it on this game. Once it's over, they'll either crap out another Kingdom Hearts game or the remake.
Uh no, there's absolutely no chance of any more announcements. While the "event" may last for two days, it's really only three hours long. They're just doing it three times a day so more people can go.
