Post-PAX Symptoms

- Talking to myself for long periods of time on Pictochat, complaining about the lag and the penis artists
- Realizing that I miss the smell and avoiding taking a shower

Just kidding about the last part.

I miss PAX so much.

List your own. :D

My back is sore from all the luggage I had to carry on my return trip. Bringing an extra backpack was a great idea, but I'm really feeling it today. The caffeine in my bloodstream has gone down as well, and I slept a good 15 hours last night to recover from the maybe 6 hours I had all weekend.

it was a wonderfull time, and i will undoubtably miss it.

but, there is no reason to pout, for pax is coming again! just like that one holiday. you know the one im talking about. the one that comes every year? that one. its coming again. its coming to town.

from the large posters which caught my wondering gaze many a time to the disguisting ass-stench produced by the large large sweaty mens unmentionable parts.

(did you see that one guy?!?!?! jesus-christ he was a fatty-mc fat pants! you know the one im talking about. its impossible not to know.)

and i even got to meet a few awesome KotW guildies, though i sadly havent logged in around a month (shoyakus the name, dark irons my game)

i think all in all it was an enlightening experience, just like every year before it has been.im definatley psyched about the move to the WsCv, although the drive is going to suck ASS for me now. i used to be so close, i dont know if my parents will give me a ride anymore. living in woodinville sucks. anyways, i better wrap this up, and ill do it with 3 EPIC staments.

    1. we love you leeroy (we hate you jack thompson)

    2. go go hot-dog fairy! ( o rly? ya rly! o rly? ya rly! no wai! )

    3. all hail ball =P

Oh god I had such a head ache this morning. All the stimulants (BAWLS), depressants (booze), lack of food and sleep (too much to do) caught up with me HARDCORE.

However the n37radio crew is practically hyper about kicking the site back into gear, we've recorded an actual video show about PAX and we're lining up interviews for Leet Speak. Astayonix and I are planning potential ways of bettering the Seattle destination side of the super trips and potentially other things.

    Now I can't wait for Child's Play!

I don't think you wanna know.

    but IT is fucking green.

I think it's from all the BAWLS.

but seriously, if I die; it was worth it.

I miss the pictochat and ... well, i dont really miss the penis-drawings, but they were kinda funny. less than last year, i think. i liked the few times when we would have actual conversations. and it was interesting meeting people after meeting them in pictochat.
I miss making use out of my DS.
I miss seeing cosplay (although thats what Sakura-Con is all about. alot more cosplayers there)
I miss being surrounded by other gamers. the people i work with dont know anything about anything game-related. its lame.

and yeah... i think pax should be longer than 3 days. gabe and tycho disagree with me. lol

After last year, I think that by the time I got home, I spent a few days clinically dead. By Christmas I think I was able to get out of bed for more than 15 minutes at a time.

This time around, I feel pretty much okay; and the actual travelling part of the trip was far more gruelling. I still drank like a fish pretty much constantly, and hardly slept just like last time, but there was one major difference: I only had a few bottles of Bawls as opposed to a few crates.

I'm left with a pregnant skepticism that Bawls is even safe for human consumption.

    A reversed sleep schedule.
Gonna have a crash (just finished my last Bawls from my crate)
    Runny nose and cold
Counting down the days till next PAX
    Sad that it's over
In a panic (1 more day till school starts and I need to type up a book report, already read the books, though)
Being back home where only I am interested in games

I have heard from multiple people (this was seriously random and kinda creeped me out) that they had green poo. I honestly didn't want to know that. I don't and I've had more than a crate...

It was surreal to go back to the real world on Monday. While riding the escalator during transit I saw a guy with a PacMan t-shirt and felt everything was right with the world.

I imagine everyone as Clark Kent. That under their business clothes is a PacMan or even a PAX shirt.

Roll for initiative everyone and Rise up!

I love those surreal moments... like you've just left a secret world of awesomeness that exists just barely shifted from reality, just under the nose of everyone who doesn't know it's there. It's knowing that the world is a wonderfully amazing place, and if ever your current reality gets a little mundane you can always hop over the fence for complete rejuvination.

Yeah I flew back to Dallas Monday afternoon. Waiting to board the flight I saw a gentleman with an obvious geek shirt. I was wearing my "erode the human soul" tee. We exchanged knowing nods. Sadly he did not follow my lead and pull out his DS.

Also, -everywhere- you go in Bellevue you get comments if you wear a PA shirt I swear. Even the manager of Denny's was a fan.

Symptom 1: A love for Canada and the peoples in it.

Symptom 2: The desire to live in a hotel room forever!

Symptom 3: The inability to stop making horrible puns about putting warm Bawls in my mouth, or holding them gently in one hand.

Symptom 4: The urge to attend more rockin' shows (San Francisco, bring on the raves!)

Symptom 5: Wanting to make sweet love all day and night.

    Diagnosis: PAX-ititus.

I came home with a cut up elbow, a scarred knee, a sore back, and now my face is swelling up. And like someone else mentioned already, a strong desire to quit my job and move to Bellvue. That is one sexy city.

But the one thing I did miss this year was the defining tink tink of the Bawls bottles in the main hall.

God, I can't wait until next year.
