And I mean more then tossing the recycables into the right can, picking up trash, and looking for the label.

I am curious about doing various things in my community.

Firstly, I want to sell these $25 solar cookers to Mexican migrant farm workers, since they normally cook their meals by gather trash and burning it, which is adding a small amount of pollution, and fire threat, to the community. I am thinking they could be subsidized by local businesses for charity, lower the cost to nothing, charge a dollar for overhead, and sell the devices near the border.

Secondly, I am thinking of rebuilding this house I am in to take into account some factors:
A. Live in a desert region and so will need insulation from 120 degree summers, high humidity, strong gusty winds, lows down to 60 degrees.
B. Water conservation.
C. Electricity conservation.
D. Waste conservation.
F. Air purification.

If I can get to the point where I have enough income and connections, I want to hire a company to build me such a home. And if no company here exists, then create one.

Thirdly, convince the local water and electricity organization to adopt a policy where residents can pay a flat rate of say $500 and get their roofs outfitted with solar collectors, and put them under lifetime guaranttees through the local organization. That way, as solar panels improve, at no cost, the organization will instill new ones.

In my opinion, Going Green helps generate local jobs.
