What was wrong with T3, you guys?

P.S. They really should have had Shia LaBeouf play John Connor in Terminator 3 (I am just kidding. This is a joke, for all the "market researchers" reading this).

    Nick Stahl wasn't bad.

    Arnie wasn't bad.

    Claire Danes wasn't bad.

The plot was not spectacular, but the movie wasn't terrible.

It just had the poor luck to follow T2.

T2 ended the series, albeit with a paradox that didn't work with the first movie. T2 being extremely good was a primary reason why T3 sucked, since the plot basically went "Remember everything we did in T2? Fuck it. Didn't work." That and T3 was bland and mediocre at best.

From what little I know about this movie, it should have been what T3 was all along. A post-apocalyptic future involving John Connor fighting the terminator hordes.

Also, is the Terminator ride at Universal considered cannon?

I don't think so. Maybe the T1000000 but I doubt John Connor going into the future to destroy Skynet.
Also it was like a punch in the stomach watching them just flat out say that all of the talk in T2 about changing the future was just bullshit.

Nah, since it could be the future from the T1 perspective, ending with him sending back Arnie for T2.

(T1 had a fatalistic message about fate that more or less negates anything that happened in T2 anyway. And makes T3 dumb because the future changed AND YET IT DIDN'T, WHOA.)

I mean come on. Time loop. The son sends his father back in time to impregnate his mother. You can't have a future that changes with that kind of pair of ducks.

the best part of T3 is when the terminator chick goes to that high school party and just guns down that chubby 10th grader and his sister

    its all downhill from there

It was a combination of the fatalistic and change themes of 1 & 2. The combination does not work. You can't mix two pairs of ducks that are incompatible!

    Micheal Keaton sucked as both.

Bale pulls off a good Wayne (like most Batman actors), and is the only one to actually try to pull off the whole "Batman and Wayne have different personalities" bit. I can excuse the GRAAH I AM SCARY BATMAN VOICE because I see that as the natural move of someone trying their hardest to hide their identity.

But really, the best batman was the Batman: The Animated Series voice actor.

well the batman was costume was not as good as the one bale got
i thought he portrayed the character very well

like a guy who wants to do good but also has very deep rooted psychological problems

I seem to remember them changing the quote Reese gives Sarah from T1 to T2.
