The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
With the announcement that Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People will finally be coming out for PC and Wii this Monday, it's time to talk about everybody's favorite series of flash cartoons that they may or may not still be following, maybe they forgot about it for a while or something, who knows, whatever.
this site has honestly not been funny in about 4 years
Based on this statement I assume that, over the past 4 years, you checked the site regularly and viewed all it had to offer.
I honestly haven't, and it's more like 2 and a half years
but last time I checked it was losing funny
I think it's more to do with you growing up than the content of the site.
Homestar Runner seems like it's the sort of thing that's consistently tried to aim at kids and doesn't really change it's style much at all over the years.
While that doesn't mean older peole can't enjoy it, it's difficult to consistently enjoy something you first started watching 5 or more years ago.

man H*R doesn't really seem aimed at kids at all
especially with the setting seemingly frozen in the 1980s
non-vulgar, silly humor isn't automaticly supposed to be for children
Pseudo-1980's? I think it's set in modern day (as modern day as a fictional setting can be), it's just that Strong Bad prefers old computers and technology.

the made-up band Limozeen is obviously an 80s thing.
There are other references that go back to that era, but my brain wants sleep, and nothing's coming to me right now.

I meant to do that sooner, thanks for the reminder.
CRACK STUNTMAN GONNA SAVE SOME LIVES
I guess the psuedo-1980s setting does make more sense at a slightly older crowd.
Also, it's pretty awesome that Strong Bad has an actual Guitar Hero song.
TROGDOR!

I mean, Sloshy is a reference to faggy college-rock bands.
God, why am I arguing about this? This is retarded
"lookit me! I'm ovar ere playin wit my bawl!"
