    My friend, the one who likes serial killers, is also a huge freakin' X-Files geek
    I borrowed the first three seasons from her and watched them in like a week
    The one with the weird Amish-type people who could change sex at will was weird as hell

    Looks like I'll be spending a shitload more on DVDs, then.

    Oh I also saw the movie. I thought it was pretty entertaining, although parts of it I had trouble following.
    Like what was supposed to be happening to that woman in the climax.

    which isn't really a good excuse for not having seen it because I should see it with my dad anyways

    Ahh see I thought that was it, but I couldn't really figure the motive or some of the loose ends.

    Also I had most of the theater scowling at me when I broke into laughter when the priest started skipping and shouting loudly "ITS HE-AH! ITS HE-AH!" at every opportunity.

    i really like Blood

    definitely one of my favourite episodes

    and i actually enjoy the conspiracy episodes in the first season, mostly because they haven't revealed everything yet

    what's awesome, though, is that they have mulder
    witness a confirmation of everything he's ever hoped for and then they wipe it from his memory

    i never appreciated how tragic that was until ten years later

    Like I said, it's a good enough movie
    I figured out what was going on about halfway through
    But I did that with the show on occasion so it wasn't like "hurr too easy"

    I honestly don't remember Blood very well

    I saw The X-Files as they aired while growing up

    And then kinda smatterings since then

    And now have been going through everything in order with my dad

    We had a sorta marathon at her place a few weeks ago
    It was basically her grabbing DVDs and going OK this one is great
    I'm like yeah but you say that about ALL of them
    But she did pick good ones
    The one where they keep living the same day over and over, the one with the guy who thinks his manager is a demon, Clyde Bruckman, Home (the really fucked up one that got banned from being rerun in America), and uh one more that I can't remember

    Like I said most of them blur together because I watched them pretty much nonstop for a week

    i paid $40 for it originally but i could easily get it for half that today
