How the hell do you play this game? I have got to the den and I have absolutely no idea how to win a fight. I get destroyed almost every single fight, I have tried grinding out a few levels but I lose so many fights and have to reload so many times that I have gained about half a level in 4 hours of playing. I know I am not very far but this is really pissing me off. I will target the enemy in the eyes with my spear, which usually works but there are so many enemies that they all just demolish me before I can do anything.

Also how do I heal? My first aid is 40% and my doctor is about 10 but they almsot never work so I just travel around the desert for a couple minutes to heal. Only problem is right now I have a broken leg, arm, radiated, poisoned and a damaged eye.

Play Fallout first. It's a much better game and the interface is almost exactly the same so it's not clunkier or anything.

It should work on XP, since I played it that way. I think it requires a patch or something, though. You could try Patch Scrolls or some other resource to find the patch since Interplay is down.

I've always found it helpful to ramp up the small guns skill, use the rifle, and always aim for the eyes. It does a lot of damage and can blind your opponent.

Start using the action points... Early Game, the hit once, then run tactic go me out of a few sticky situations...
Or use steal and get a decent weapon... Also - free Sulik.

I accidently killed Sulik, hope he was important.

There's nobody you can kill that makes it impossible to finish the game.
