Dress as a character from the game and you could win big!

Tycho brought it up on the front page too.

I dressed as a Penny Arcade RSPD character last year and I got nuthin' for it!

Sadly, I have thrown out like half of that costume because I thought I would never wear it again.

If anyone wants some pointers I will be glad to help you.

    Wow. This is gonna make PAX a whole lot more interesting, if a lot of people enter... :P

    I'm not really into cosplay, and it's kind of a last minute notice thing, so I don't think I'll be entering. Good luck to everyone that does, though. :P

    I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."

    Badass, I was super excited to hear about the contest, since i was already going as Tycho from RSPD :).

    I have the vest, shirt, socks, shoes, pants, a book and a tommy gun all ready and raring to go. I cannot possibly replicate his hair, so I will just go for classy steampunk style hair, in lieu

    Yeah I posted a link in the cosplay thread about it, but it's still too late of notice. I was planning a long time ago to do a Fruit Fucker costume, and this might make me start thinking about it again, but i dunno...

    Well I was already planning to cosplay as a sexy female version of Gabe. (I don't exactly have the body to be trying to pass myself off as a twenty-something dude...) It's the webcomic version, so I guess it doesn't really fit into the RSPD theme... But hey maybe if I make it revealing enough I'll win anyway?? xD

    I'm excited to see all the other costumes! Maybe I can convince my friend to do a fruit fucker for the contest. :)

    I briefed over the contest rules and it did say "1920s attire" so I can only assume that means your own character.

    Yeah, if I'd had a weeks more warning I would have done the full frock coat, top hat, spats ensemble that you can make in the chargen, but not enough time to assemble it all now. :(

    As far as I can tell, it states you must dress as a human character from RSPD, the mention of 1920's attire is related to the person receiving the entrants at the Hothead booth. They will be dressed as such for easy entry without hassling the other Hothead folks.
