Zimmydoom, Zimmydoom
Flew away in a balloon
Had sex with polar bears
While sitting in a reclining chair
Now there are Zim-Bear hybrids
Running around and clawing eyelids
Watch out, a Zim-Bear is about to have sex with yooooooou!
The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs
If anything that would be the likely culprit that is being masked, assuming there's any deception involved. For two, why the hell would you immediately go there? For three, why the hell would they mask his cause of death?
"Complications from pneumonia" is usually a codeword for something else.
I'm thinking it could have been AIDS.
I'm thinking you're wrong. I totally get where you're coming from in that people who have AIDS often succumb to respiratory infections, but come on. That's a pretty dark jump to conclusions.
The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.
Bernie Mac was probably my favorite comedian these days. His roles in the Ocean's films and even his brief appearance in Transformers were some of the best parts of those films.

Clearly, the obvious explanation is that Plutonium is a racist.
My father in law almost died from complications related to pnuemonia, ditto a guy I work with. What would make you think it is some kind of aids-codeword? This isn't 1983.
I never really had a strong attachment to Bernie Mac, but it is a shame he died.
I'm just saying that a lot of times people die of Pneumonia when they don't want to release details of an underlying illness. Sorry it came out wrong.
It was a shame that he died, he was a real funny guy.

I'm not going to turn this is thread about a deceased celebrity into some kind of idiotic argument, but if you are going to say things like that, you need to have examples and some obvious reason for saying it.

I saw one newspaper site report this but they didn't have any hard evidence or sources for it, so I ignored it.
Then a few minutes ago when I was going to Google News to find something else it was all up on it.

I was just speculating and it came out wrong. If you really need examples, Freddie Mercury died from Pneumonia, and only revealed the true cause right before he died. I'm sure there are tons of other people out there who preferred keep their privacy.
He was a consistently funny guy, and will be missed.

He is correct that "complications from pneumonia" has commonly been used as an euphemism for AIDs, especially in the 80s. No reason to believe its the case here though.
Very unfortunate, you never know when your time is up.
Complications from pneumonia? People still die from that? Damn
Yeah, they still do. Especially the old and the really young. Not often, but it happens.
Bernie, almost like Carlin, was one of those guys who just was. Not a superstar, but somebody who was always around and if you saw him come on-screen you knew you were about to laugh. It's hard for me to imagine a world without him.
Exactly.
And HOLY shit I hate when deaths just happen like this. Just out of the blue.

R.I.P.
Well apparently he wassick for a long time before his death.
And for the rest of you, yes people still die from pneumonia. I almost did in 2006.:(
R.I.P B-Mac.
Edit: oh, and I swear I have read somewhere that black people are more sensitive to pneumonia. And given his age...

just for the record my mom asked me if it was AIDS when she heard about it. like specifically called me to ask, I guess she figured I'd have heard.
that was a very common code for AIDS at a time. my guess is now, where it's probably more public and definitely more possible to live with, if someone has aids we'd know about it long before they actually died. admittedly, that's just speculation but something like that staying hidden when it probably doesn't have to would be both unnecessary and potentially dangerous.
I'm not saying it was aids, I'm actually saying it's highly unlikely in any present day situation and just plain false in this case, but it's also understandable why someone might have thought that.
It's been my experience that far too many people tend to think of pneumonia as a bad cold when the reality is pneumonia is something that can kill you. I mean, no, it's not the plauge, but it's not exactly the sniffles either.
Yeah, if you're a healthy 20 something adult? Pneumonia is probably not something you have to worry about. When you get older? Especially when you already have lung problems? Not a good situation to be in.
Obviously this was the democratic party putting him on ice before he could become a further liability after the comments he gave that Obama event. Since we know that AIDS is a government super virus designed to kill blacks and homosexuals it is quite obvious that they infected him with it years ago due to the subversive nature of his comedy. Now that he is no longer in the headlines for the jokes he made at an Obama rally all they really had to do was infect him with pneumonia and wait for him to die. Thereby preventing him from making any more subversive comments that might potentially make the upcoming election to appear as rigged as it really is.
Which leaves us with two important questions. First who ordered his death? Second does this actually need sarcasm tags or can people work it out this was a complete work of fiction?

Rest in peace Bernie Mac, you went way too soon.
