Hyjal sucked...let's not delude ourselves. Massive disappointment.
Hyjal is great. The trash works as a nice pacing mechanism, giving a nice sense of urgency to the boss fights. It doesn't get insanely hard until Archie which is a great example of a very hard but fair encounter.

I don't like to have to repeat trash a shitton. But the real crappy part is the complete lack of lore. They literally forgot it and nervously made excuses on the forums as to why the Infinite aren't part of the instance. And since they aren't, it makes you wonder why Malfurion isn't present.
I was looking forward to the lore of Hyjal more than anything in TBC, and it sucked hard.
Hyjal is great the first few times you see it, however you don't have the luxury of trying to pick a faster path, trying to beat your chain pulling time in a controllable way and until Kaz'rogal the trash is a total snorefest and only slightly better afterwards : b
BT was great though, it had a good pacing to it in terms of trash, maybe a little less between Naj and Sup and up to Teron would've gone over great but otherwise very nicely paced. Sunwell is the same as well, not so much trash but it sets a decent pace especially with the first 3 being within a couple of pulls of each other.
Archimonde is a great fight once everyone plays properly : b

I love lore but I can live with it's absence in the instance. It was a chance to do a major battle from WC3 and that's all I needed it to be.

Hyjal is awesome fun the first time. Great fun the second time.
The third time and subsequent times I want to kill myself.

seeing all of black temple and hyjal for the first time with a guild that was already farming it was pretty fucking depressing
Though, warlocks don't have to think much. That might've been the problem.
The only two shields that I can get for my warrior pre-kara are in places nobody seems to want to do on my server.
So I am walking around with a level 68 green that inexplicably looks like the shield that Troll Warriors start out with.
Come Blizzard.
How about stop creating silly Refer-A-Friend systems and make some decent models for your high end greens??
what about the SSO shield?
This is good advice, it's a sidegrade from Nightbane's shield so it will last you through Kara and beyond, you'll be doing SSO dailies anyway so get it as soon as you have sufficient rep.

I'm gonna spam away and forward my question from the previous thread here: Can anyone recommend a dependable service where you can buy a wow US cd-key and receive it via email? And is this illegal?
I found an old priest I apparently made a long, long time ago sitting at level 25. He was completely naked, so after a gold infusion and a quick respec I started to figure out to use one.
Wow. I've really been missing out. I'm at level 31 now, and I really wish I had played this character sooner. Shadow spec, even at this low level, is awesome for solo. And even with cheap AH greens it seems like I can easily heal any instance, even those a few levels out of my reach.
Now, I just wish that my spells weren't resisted so damn much - even with enough points dumped itno the reduction talent (at 6% or something now).

I swear, even with 5/5 against lower-level mobs (which is way more than necessary by itself to cap the hit rate), I hit that 1% resist chance all the fucking time. And it seems like it's always Vampiric Touch that gets resisted.
I've kind of sort of got my multiboxing setup working now with a Druid and Shaman. Running around 2-shotting everything with Lightning Bolt+Wrath into Earth Shock+Moonfire is pretty amusing, but until the trial restrictions on trading and mailing are fully lifted, I'm not going to get much more accomplished beyond gibbing plainstriders in Mulgore.
At 6% you should only be seeing 1% resist rate (that you can't get rid of) on equal level mobs
actually, against equal level mobs you only need 3% to cap your hit, 4% for mobs one level above you, 5% for mobs 2 levels above you, and 16% against mobs 3 levels above you. So unless you're consistently fighting mobs 2 or more levels above you, you only need 2 points in that talent to cap your hit chance, and 3 to cap it against mobs 2 levels above you.

The WoW website? You can buy a trial account on there and upgrade it yourself.

Yes but I can't upgrade to a US account if I'm outside the US, it rejects my credit card when upgrading from trial to a regular account.

Thank you. Quick delivery?
Less than twelve unless it's not in stock. On the last two orders I did one was just under twelve and the other less than an hour. You can usually get them on live chat after you place the order and try to get it expedited.

I think I'm going to be better off getting all my ore prospected and cut by a friend, even if I give him a cut of the profits.
Someone tell me this makes sense as it seems too simple (and annoying as I've already sold a hell of a lot of ore.)
Also, is it worth prospecting fel iron. Only sells for about 16g a stack if that but I don't know how well is prospects.
Thank you all in advance for your JC advice.
In recent patches, green gems have started selling for much higher values, due to their being used to make an intermediary item that can give blue and occasionally epic gems. So prospecting isn't the gamble that it used to be. By way of example, green gems on my server are priced around 4-5g each. Hitting a full stack (4 prospects) pretty much guarantees at least 4 or more green gems, making that more valuable.
Also uncut green gems sell higher than cut green gems, again because people buy them to make Brilliant Glass. So go ahead and prospect.
What a wacky turn of events. We lost our only two warrior tanks in the same day, the first one left because he announced he couldn't afford to pay for his own flasks/pots/food (we tried to explain the concept of dailies but it was lost on him), and the other logs on his alt on another account and begins to tell us Blizzard banned him for buying gold, but insists he didn't buy it, he just FOUND 1k gold in his mailbox and decided to keep it. The best part with that was, first he just didn't have access to the character, then he was able to log onto it after talking to a GM. The next day? It was deleted by blizzard. Classic! Now he plans on calling them today to raise hell.
One of our guildies even went to the pain of setting a play of level 1 warriors named after the two slobs and their gallant fight vs the Goldmonster. Much hilarity was had, but now I'm stuck tanking on my feral druid instead of raiding on my warlock....and my Nethervoid cloak finally dropped

Doing dailies as a tank is awesome. Seriously.
I just ground out the entirety of SSO rep as a protadin, I wanted to hang myself by the end.
People who think ganking a protadin trying to do dailies is necessary should burn in a fire. Or several.

Best thing to do when you don't want to worry about tanks for raids? Play one.

So there was a blue post that touched on the resilience working in PvE:
Resilience still works in PvE. Perhaps someone was hearing one of us say that the goal was not for druids and death knights to go get resilience gear in order to tank. Resilience gear is designed for PvP, not for tanking, but we aren't doing anything to prevent it from working.
A druid, death knight and warrior tank all need to end up with similar relative survivability. Some may do it with big stamina pools, some may have more mitigation, and some more avoidance (which we realize isn't as desirable as the others).
I'm not sure we'll offer two-handed tanking weapons for DK tanks, but that doesn't mean they all are supposed to dual-wield. Even among warriors, there are some who recommend using +threat weapons for some fights. If we design DKs to use dps weapons even when tanking, we'll make sure to stack their survivability stats in other ways.
Sigils are tricky things to offer as quest rewards because 9 other classes can't even use them.
Also remember Naxx has like 15 bosses and they all drop a lot of loot. The loot table for that place is gigantic.
I ground it out too. The secret to rep grinds as a prot paladin? Tank the fucking instances.
Except that I can only run heroic MgT once a day, and there are better uses for my limited playtime than running regular MgT strictly for rep. Like, say, grinding other heroics for badges.
What I generally ended up doing was just doing whatever SSO dailies I could while sitting in LFG between groups. It only took about a week or two of focused effort, it was just irritating to take about 3 times longer doing them on my paladin than on my hunter.

Sadly, the OTHER 3 bits of Kara gear I wanted didn't drop. (Damn you Aran! You drop two pieces of loot in one go! Can't one be that damn cloak?!?)
So I am walking around with a level 68 green that inexplicably looks like the shield that Troll Warriors start out with.

we also talk about other random shit and clown upon each other
I'm trying to parse the concept of "High end green..."
Or the badge Coldarra shield.
Or the blue Shield of the Wayward Footman, or the level 64 BoP instance Shield of the Void which is still going to be better than a 68 green.
Though at least I used to have a 70 with which to enjoy the endgame. Nothing fun happened after The Eye, right?
Um sure...just ignore the squeals of glee from Hyjal and BT....

hello
I borrowed 5k from a friend for a mount and am working on paying it back through the medium of mining.
Now stacks of adamantite sell for around 22g on my server and I know prices vary from place to place.
