Looking for Famous Photographs

I'm involved pretty heavily with the local Boy Scouts, and the gentleman who's been running the local troop for the past 10 years or so is stepping down. There's going to be a big brouhaha, and one of the things they're looking to do is make a slideshow of him Photoshopped into various photographs, Forrest Gump-style.
We already have someone (not me) who is a wizard with Photoshop, and the task has been passed on to me to find material for this. I'm looking for more positive pictures (none of that grim Vietnam stuff or what have you)...I assume it ought to be in a high resolution for anyone who's going to be working with the material.
As far as anything that might be particularly good, he's a doctor who's big into astronomy and Star Trek (I'm going to have to have at least one shot of him Photoshopped into the bridge crew on Next Generation--that's about the only certainty at this point). His son is in the Marines, so a few things from the Marines would be good.
So: high-res, positive/silly, space/medicine/Marines-related a plus. I used to know a bunch of sites that indexed famous photos, but I've since forgotten 'em. Help? (I can trawl through photos on my own if you just want to link me a big list. Direct links to photos would be a plus, though.)

What I'd do if I were you is just browse Flickr. Find remote parts of the world and paste him in. Don't matter if the photo is a famous one or not if it's a picture of Easter Island and he's standing on top of a moai.
