    Ironically, now that Bioware is owned by EA they'll probably be put to work on what they're best at, making games out of other people's IPs.

    There is also rumors of Jade Empire 2 in the works, but nothing concrete.

    I thought they were making both a Kotor MMO and a 3 proper. Also Jade Empire 2 by Obsidian, calling it now (if it already hasn't been announced) and I'd happily play it.

    Yeah, their games are getting better. Not by huge leaps, but they started out at 'decent' and they're heading steadily towards 'richly rewarding'.

    When I say "best at" I don't just mean "best selling" I mean those games based on non-original IP's they made were better games. Hence, there is a real possibility that being owned by EA will force them to make higher quality games.

    While I agree that Mass effect is better than JE, I'd say that they've been declining in quality slowly but surely since Baldurs gate 2. On the plus side, Obsidian always come along and uses what they started to make a better (if much buggier game) afterwards.
