The entire thing seemed incredibly forced to me.
I did enjoy Robert Downey Jr's performance up to what I saw, but everyone else was horrible.

This movie was about what I was expecting, which I think is less than others. It was very good though. I'd say about the same as Pineapple Express, which was a bit worse than I was expecting.

Also, Robert Downey Jr. is the best person ever. Everyone go see Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.

I was pretty disappointed with Pineapple Express, but this exceeded my expectations slightly.

The opening trailers were so, so perfect.

No, but I got the Samuel Jackson is a mean cop trailer, which despite looking incredibly formuliac, still looks like it could be awesome.
That movie basically looks like a sequel to GTA San Andreas where Tenpenny survives and decides to start harassing his neighbors.

    It looks hilarious.

Everyone in the theater laughed at "I'm the PO-LICE you have to do what I say!"

I'm tired of these motherfuckin white people in this motherfuckin neighborhood?

So my main question is, how does this compare to Zoolander? Because I love that movie so, so much and I thought this might be comparable.

Hopefully I'll be able to see this in the next couple days.

Tom Cruise helps make the movie.

And things are forced because they're supposed to be forced; it's a movie about making a movie with the most spoiled actors on the planet.

Oh hey I want to watch this movie.

I watched Dark Knight tonight and it was really good and I also saw Wall-E two days ago, great too. Both in English, gotta love the Netherlands for only dubbing stuff for children.

But there are way to many tourists here that think it's such a liberal country and stuff and wash your hair, hippies. Weed is pretty weak here and there are way too many coffee shops I tell you what. Really weird country, expensive too. Don't even know what that has to do with this thread at all, just go on.

I had a friend really hype this movie up for me but I also knew he really overrates movies so I didn't let it fully go to my head. I enjoyed the movie, at points it really dragged but overall I'm happy I saw it. Plus it has some fantastic lines in it, mostly from Downey.

Downey made it for me. Ben Stiller was hilarious, but Downey delivered gold.

This was a great movie. I liked it better than Pineapple express. I couldn't understand what Robert Downey Jr. was saying half the time, I was just laughing.

Where did Danny McBride come from? Because he was hilarious in both movies.

a bunch of big name comedy guys like seth rogan saw him in "the foot fist way" and were like "dang! this guy's hilarious!" and gave him some supporting parts and such

I think some of them were supposed to be. Like the Les Grossman/Agent standoff in the meeting room with all of the tight camera angles and sloooow dialogue, I think that was supposed to be on purpose and a joke.
