using macbook iSight with messenger for Mac

Simple question

How to get a built in webcam on a macbook working for video conversation on the messenger IM protocol?

Is there a different program she should use? She's using ' messenger for mac' and it doesn't seem possible.

side note: do they have built in mic's too? (so it could be audio and video over msn... or skype or SOMETHING)

    I haven't used it, but this supposedly works with it.

    Skype works fine. Yes they have Mics.

    Yeah, Skype is the best for cross-platform video chats.

    And yeah, they have mics built in. But if she can get an external one that would be ideal (because the mic picks up a ton of keyboard noise due to the proximity of the mic to the keyboard).
