I'm not sure if this is correct place for this question, but I have spent the last hour searching through an 80 page thread in Games and technology and I didn't find anything there or get a response to my question. So I decided to bring my query here.
I recently reinstalled Neverwinter Nights 2, but I am unable to update the game using there update tool included with the game. The download stalls out at around 24-30%. Does anyone know of a way to fix this or of a way that I can get a compilation of all the patches instead of trying to install them piecemeal?
Currently I have all the patches downloaded but they are all beta versions for one, and I can't install the first one as it says I need to be at version 1.01 instead of version 1.00. But there is no where that I can find that has a 1.01 patch.
Any links to patches or a way to fix the updater would be much appreciated.
Either the initial loader or the updater should tell you what your version currently is. You'll want to pick the one that's 'from' you current version 'to' the most recent version (highest number).
That should work, although in at least one case (Supreme Commander), I've had to deliberately figure out an update chain that gets from your current version to the latest, making sure that each successive patch's end state is another one's start point.
Most software is better behaved than this, though. Just remember it in case you run into problems.

seems to have a fairly comprehensive patch listing, including one that looked like it went from 1.00 to 1.03 (in a variety of languages)
Hope that helps.
Just a quick question though how do I know which ones I want. There are so many different numbered patches there that I am completley lost?
Sorry if I am being dense but I wouldn't even know where to begin.
