Harddrive Corruption

For a while now my harddrive has been having some problems. The first and most noticeable one is that WoW started having random crashes due to corrupt files. But now it seems that any file I download or install is corrupt upon finishing. I have recently reformatted so I doubt it is a virus, but I did copy a lot of files over from the PC after I reformmatted. I guess some of them could contain a virus. So far AVG anti-virus is unuseable, Fire Fox, WoW, and I've downloaded a few random things like game mods that are all corrupt. I have had some problems in the past with overheating which has caused HD corruption. I am thinking that the HD may be damaged from that or it is just getting old. I'm hoping you guys could provide some opinions. Thanks.

Sounds like a damaged / failing hard drive, I had one do the exact same thing. Time for warranty repair or a new one.
