Games to play at work?

so, I finish work at my current employer in a month and until then I have literally no motivation at all. My job isn't overly strenuous anyway (combination of infrastructure support and helpdesk) so I have nothing to do 90% of the time anyway.

This overly rambling intro is basically to ask: What can I play at work?

I've been messing around with a remake of X-Com, but it's a bit deep for the kind of 'play for half an hour, stop to do a couple of helpdesk calls, then dive back in'. Ideally I'd quite like a turn based strategy, but I will consider literally anything that fits my basic criteria.

Here's those criteria:

Has to run on Ubuntu (wine is fine)
Has to be free
Has to run in a window

Any suggestions?

The big one I can think of is N, the ninja game. Possibly the best, most pure (and most frustrating) platformer I've ever seen, it's easy enough to pick up and it gets hard enough to challenge anyone.

Battle for Wesnoth is the turn-based strategy that gets paraded around because it's so easily available on Linux, the standard repos for Ubuntu should have it in there. Also check out FreeCiv.

Dwarf fortress has never really appealed to me.

Crawl looks a little... simplistic (although that's probably the graphics snob in me)

I should point out I'm much more interested in sci-fi settings than fantasy ones.

    Keep em coming though.

Battle for Wesnoth is pretty good and it runs natively in Linux.

I used to play Moria when I was a wee lad, Crawl looks like it's exactly what I'm looking for.

SuperTux is a fun Mario clone and is available in the Ubuntu repos. Can't go wrong with Tetris either.

Crawl is anything but simplistic, by the way, but, hn, sci-fi settings....
