Sorry, I'm pretty sure attendance is going to be at an all-time low. All the people on these forums are just here making plans for e4all
Oh dude, that reminds me, I went to the E4All forums yesterday, and they are freakin' E4Empty. I mean SERIOUSLY there are like maybe 10 people there and about as many topics. It's so pathetic I genuinely pity them.

Not to mention that they're broken and there was a thread this guy made complaining because his other thread had been deleted.
His other thread was asking if he should go to PAX or E4A.
lol... oh... oh, the wonderful (and possibly mean) fun we could have there.
PAX coverage posted live to the E4All forums?
o_O VT, you are honestly the last person I would think would suggest a forum raid :P
But it would be funny as hell.
You're forgetting that he's a card carrying minion now! These sorts of things are in his job contract!
I understand this is a joke, but I don't get why a minion would want to do this. As a minion of a game developer, it would be in his best interest (and the developer's) to not promote one over the other.
In my opinion, though, this whole rivalry thing is funny as hell.

Something about TK doesn't sit right with me, I know it's quality stuff, but I think it's on the bland side. I don't think I would even bother with it much if it weren't a local company.
You have got to be kidding me. Virgil's is on the level of Mug. It was the most disappointing independent root beer brand I've had since Americana. Blugh. Weak and uninspired.
I'm completely on board with Henry Weinhard's. Some people complain that it doesn't have much bite. But it has all these subtle notes like vanilla and honey that make drinking a bottle slowly a very enjoyable experience.
Is it shameful to admit that I enjoy Hansen's root beer? Not frequently... I think I've only had it a couple of times. But I thought the taste was good when I did have it.
IBC is best for pranking.
Drunk Driving? nope, IBC rootbeer.
Underage Drinking? nope, IBC rootbeer.
Case of beer in work minifridge? nope, IBC rootbeer.

I used to drink the large IBCs out of a paper bag at lunch in high school.
awww, I miss fizzy beverages...I had gastric bypass a little while back and can no longer consume carbonation (at least not much). On the plus side though, I'm 125 lbs less now than I was at PAX '07. But still....root beer....<sigh>

Ack... that's why I could never have such surgery. The moment I went into a gas station/went to a restaurant/went to any kind of store ever, I'd likely be dead. I made the switch to diet coke luckily, but drinking *some kind* of carbonated beverage seems to be a subconscious act for me. =(
I still sip a little diet cola when I go out, but it's nothing like the 2 liters of Mt. Dew I would drink every night...at least. You'd be surprised how good crystal light is. I take those little single serving packets with me everywhere and always have a water bottle with me. They even have caffeinated ones now. I end up drinking anywhere from 2 - 6 liters of that every day now.

Man, on my honeymoon we went to Nicaragua... I was psyched. Everything, even regular coke, had real sugar and not corn syrup. It tasted so much fresher and better.

Grats on the weight loss! I'm doing the same (only 35 lbs so far) but going the horribly restrictive eating plan route instead. And yes, Crystal Light is a god-send.

Barq's kicks ass, and I actually miss their commercials...
Blind Patron: I can see! I can see!
Reseller: Really?!
Blind Patron: Nah, but it's that bite to it though!
I still like that old Mug commercial with the clueless guy talking about his bachelor party xD

Agreed. The only thing worse than Mug is store brand root beer.
1. Henry Weinhard's
2. Teddy's
3. Dad's
4. Barq's
5. Thomas Kemper
That doesn't take into account the secret microbrew root beer at The Continental in the U-District which is superior to all.
I want screenshots? ROOT BEER.
Honestly, I agree. Mug is terrible. Though I'm surprised you put Barq's above Thomas Kemper. I enjoy a good TK from time to time.
