War poem identification

Hi guys, hoping that you can help me with this :)

In school we studied war poems and I enjoyed one particular poem but have been unable to find it and can't even remember the name. I believe it is a world war one poem written about an attack on a bridge. The one defining feature is that it makes a reference to a line from MacBeth: "They have tied me to a stake; I cannot fly, But, bear-like, I must fight the course" (it is not quoted exactly).

Hopefully someone can help me, I've had no luck with Google searches and it's beginning to drive me mad :P

Cheers.
