Maybe I'd be more excited if I had seen "Nightmare Before Christmas".

Because the guy showcasing Batman and Robin has any room to talk about movies?

I believe those are ellipses. They can indicate a number of things, here they are meant to indicate stunned silence. However, if I had known they would cause this thread to become a train-wreck, I would have restrained myself.

That was long, only semi-relevant, yet pretty fucking funny.

Anyway, I think the Caroline movie looks excellent.

That's cool, how did they do that? I'm assuming they're from two different games right?

I'm pretty sure both characters are from the same satirical game.

I somehow feel the satire would have been more cutting if Matt Hazard didn't appear to be the exact same generic grizzled tough man i've played in every western action game ever.

I think that's kind of the point.

Also, the game features Will Arnett, and more importantly, Neil Patrick Harris, so it's going to be glorious.

That's the point of the game. It's a parody of western shooters.

"Matt Hazard pits players in the role of the title character, a "legendary" gaming hero who is "returning to glory" in a new video game, some 25 years after his debut game and 6 years after his last game. In reality, the Matt Hazard character is in his first video game, with a history made up by D3 Publisher to chronicle the character's rise and fall in popularity. The Return of Matt Hazard marks Hazard's fictitious "comeback" to the gaming scene."

Agreed. You can't have GI Joe and put them all in black leather and call it good. Fucking do GI Joe... I want my Roadblock in a Lime Green vest and my Bar-B-Q in an Orange jumpsuit with a metal helmet for some fucking reason.

It's a G.I Joe movie. All I expect from it is mindless action, and Snake Eyes doing cool ninja shit. That teaser hinted at both things.

I agree in part with Dark Warrior.

There's something about the formula for the Marvel DTV movies that just saps them of fun and entertainment.

Yeah Marvel needs something on the JL/JLU level of quality. Though to be fair DC's animated movies haven't been up to that level either. ROTJoker, New Frontier, or Mask of the Phantasm might make that cut but I don't think anything else comes close. Superman/Doomsday, the other Batman movies? bleh.. not as lifeless as Marvel's stuff but not JLU level either (though I guess hardly anything is)

This are from the bios that are going to come with the toys. Look at the third picture, "The Doctor".
That's Joseph Gordon-Levitt. And we know who's he's playing right?

Just watched Hulk vs and noticed the cameo of X-23 and discovered that according to the creator "Wolverine and the X-men" and Hulk vs Wolverine share cannon. The X-23 cameo seemed really out of place considering she never shows up. I wounder if she appears in the series.8-)

I fucking hated Bay's Transformers. I would have forgiven all the horrid dialog and acting if the action was at least good, but you could barely follow the action scenes due to the hideous camera shots. I might give this a shot if I hear you can actually see the action scenes this time. Oh and if John Turturro's in it again.

She already has. In an episode where Wolverine and Mystique break into the Weapon X facility, she is shown about 12-14 yrs old with the doctor there.

Goddamn the GI Joe movie is going to be awful. The Warren Ellis written Resolute thing has promise, but good Lord that live action movie is going to terrible.

I always liked the sneaky commando version of Snake Eyes a lot more than the super ninja leaping around standing on dude's heads version of Snake Eyes. Resolute features Snake Eyes as a crazy super ninja, dropping onto dudes from like a million feet in the air and standing on their shoulders and shit.
