    I would be sad that I couldn't download Mario RPG if I didn't have my Japanese version on SNES already.

    But yay for the rest of you! I think I'll play some Mario RPG today! I started (resumed a very early file, actually) a game last week.

    Apparently, the last person to have played the game before me was named Yumiko (I think it was Yumiko, I have to check). I still have two saves from that person.

    I have had 2500 points for quite a while now, and had cleaned the fridge months ago, with just barely enough space for SMRPG, I promised myself and Nintendo (sent a pointless email) that I would not download anything until a proper storage solution presented itself, but I could not pass this up.

    Okay, so serious question. I'm gonna get another 2000 points to get SMRPG. After I download it I should be left with around 1400 points. What games should I get besides Mario RPG, including both Wii Ware and VC games?

    So far i have no WiiWare games, and the following VC titles:
    Donkey Kong Country
    Donkey Kong Country 2
    Donkey Kong Country 3
    LandStalker
    Contra 3
    Super Mario Bros. 3
    Sin & Punishment
    Kid Icarus
    Gunstar Heroes

    Seconded Lostwinds, I really enjoyed that one, it is a bit on the short side is the only downside, but the few hours you play are fantastic.

    how is dkc2 and 3? i never really got far in either of them when i rented them... i rock at dkc1 tho :)
    just picked up smrpg today but im very tempted to get another dkc game...

    DKC2 is awesome. Was my first VC buy. Don't really remember 3 that well.

    DKC2 is freaking awesome, even better than DKC imo.

    ya, but you've probably played through it 2 or 3 times.. i remember the nearly the entire game.. but i'm still going to cheat and look up the password for the pirate ship.. for the life of me i can't remember it.

    You think it will? Cause I have two copies of the original pack (don't ask why because I honesty don't know), and it would be awesome to sell it for a lot someday.

    I don't think SMRPG will go up in value. It's not all that hard to find on eBay as it sold quite well back in the day. If it were a new copy, then that probably would.

    As for the VC version, are there any other changes made to the game besides the ones in the opening?
