Why hello, all. I am a photographer who likes to document his experiences at each PAX with photos and video. I have been diligently doing just that since the first PAX in 2004, and each year my desire to document what I can of the show becomes more ambitious. Unfortunately, since there is so much to do at PAX, there is no way I can capture everything. After PAX 2007, however, I decided it was time to do something about that.
Enter the
PAX Photo Patrol. The PAX Photo Patrol is a community-maintained, just-for-fun web site that aims to allow everyone to share the photographic experience of the Penny Arcade Expo. We want it all. Any and all videos and photos you've taken that have anything to do with your experiences at PAX or the area surrounding it. The idea is to share the sights, sounds, and good times you've had at the event. For those who wish to help out or just send images, there are no pesky skill requirements. You don't have to be a professional photographer to share your photos and videos. All you need is a camera and the will to point it at something and click the shutter button.
This is the product of my passion for the Penny Arcade Expo experience and the desire to share it. The hope is that I can encourage as many people as I can to help make that happen. If you have something to share- or if you want to actively help out- then I hope you will choose to help me share it with the world. Please
drop by and have a gander at the Photo Patrol's home page to get a better idea for what it's all about. I'll be uploading videos from PAX 07 all this week up until Thursday night if you'd like to come by and see what I've been up to.
If you have any questions, comments, or to express your interest in helping me to share the PAX experience, please post it here. I hope to hear from you.
