HL2 character replacements

So, I want to have another go at HL2 and actually get far in Episode One, but would like some replacements for Alyx and any other characters I can find. Searching the web gets me mainly nude mods or half assed anime ones, I would like to know if anyone has links to some quality replacement mods.

    edit: I was also curious after I found videos of zelda Alyx, Samus zero suit Alyx, and a bulma Alyx, if there was something else that would really surprise me.

    If you search Fakefactory's stuff they also have high-res mods for the world textures too.

    I havent played it since Version 6 so....

    looking at version 8 readme:
    This mod was developed and tested on 64 Bit Windows. It is NOT supported on
    32 Bit Windows, because of the limited Userspace with 32 Bit systems. You
    can try it on 32 Bit, but prepare for crashes.

    On some 32 Bit systems it is possible to overcome this limitation with some
    boot.ini switches for raising the userspace limit. I'm not going into
    detail here, because those tweaks are dangerous and should only be done by
    people, who are knowing exactly, what they do.

    However cool it is from a technological and skill standpoint, it feels dirty and wrong in all the bad non-sexy ways.

    It is funny to think that that's the only time you'll see Samus or Zelda with voice acting though.

    I'm so confused. On the one hand you're in disbelief that someone would bother putting Brawl characters into HL2, but putting Nintendo characters in TF2 makes perfect sense to you?

    The scout was originally supposed to have the SMG. They modified a promotional picture that was created before they gave the scout the scattergun.

    Because seeing Zelda or Samus in Half-Life 2's realistic setting just doesn't work.

    However, having essentially cartoon characters in a game that already stars cartoon characters works.
