Hi guys,

I tried searching for a previous thread on this but couldn't find one so here goes.

I'm flying in solo to PAX and I'm hoping to not get reamed by cab/shuttle/taxi prices (which look like they are in the $25-40 range) for going by myself. I'm hoping to cab share with some fellow PAXers to help split the cost. I had my monkey slaves conjure up a sign that I'll be holding up for those who want to join me on my quest.

I'll be arriving in Friday morning at 11am.If anyone wants to save some cash, join in :).

If anyone else is in a similar situation at a different time/location, feel free to use my sign:

Grey Line shuttles will do a round trip to downtown for about $17, which is pretty decent. They leave about once an hour.

Hey I'm a local and your best transportation option is to take the Metro bus. Don't worry about luggage, people take suitcases on the airport bus all the time!

Go to baggage claim drive (the street out all the doors of baggage claim) and walk south on the sidewalk (same direction as traffic) to the end of the terminal. Just passed the terminal there will be two bus stops, one going north to downtown Seattle, one going south to Federal Way. Go north. The bus will be either bus #194 or #174. Take #194 if you can, it's an express. Fairs are $1.50, and $1.75 (peak 6am-9am, 3pm-6pm). Get off the bus at the end of the tunnel (end of the line) at "Convention Place" station. Go up the stairs, and the convention center is across the street.

Ah, thanks guys. Those seem like pretty good options. I guess I won't need my sign after all. The monkeys will be disappointed.

Yep, I flew in today and took the 194 bus, it worked perfectly!
