Quick question on laundromats

Never been to one. House I live in now has no washer/dryer. Anyhow, I have clothes and quarters. Do I need to bring my own detergent or is it purchased there?

    I'm not sure whether you'd be able to buy it there but you can definitely bring your own.

    every one I've been to has had vending machines with detergent, bleach and fabric softener.

    they'll have some, but it'll be cheaper to bring your own.

    Also, every laundromat I've been to has had a change machine, so quarters are not strictly necessary.

    Laundromats kick ass for people who want to do their laundry like once every two weeks.

    I gave them a call (Wow, I'm so smaht), and they do indeed have detergent there. I'm a bit light on cash until I get paid, so don't want to go buy my own quite yet.
