I've decided, after having the position forced upon me, that I would dearly like to know how to DM properly. I am not overly familiar with the D20 system: I've got the books, but there are things I can't find.
It also doesn't help that the people I'm DMing for are just as new as I am.
So, the point of this thread is to give tips on how to be a good DM, basically.
