Watching some cartoons from my youth, 10-15 years after having last seen them is like getting kicked in the nuts.
Voltron isn't as good as remembered. Dragon Warrior 2 is horribly slow and cheap. Cookie Crisps taste like ass.

    G1 Transformers was pretty terrble, mostly.

    Beast Wars has aged very well.

    It's the best thing Mainframe ever made, although their Spiderman Series is really underappreciated.

    the new TMNT stuff has been pretty cool

    the new movie was surprisingly awesome, and the game that came out with it was like Prince of Persia with ninja turtles

    I was very impressed with that film. Of course, I went into it expecting it to suck, so just that it wasn't terrible was enough to surpass my hopes.

    I mean, it didn't just match the classic feel of the turtles. It was very stylish, it took some of the characters in a pretty cool direction that wasn't really dumb or out of character, and it didn't go out of it's way to pander to any particular crowd; It just brought back the awesomeness that the franchise hadn't really seen on the big screen in over ten years.

    It was sort of like returning ot my childhood, the experience of watching a new Ninja Turtles film for the first time, and I'm really glad I rented it.
