    I remember when i was like 10, i wanted to play ANY tabletop RPG, but no one would teach a 10 year old how to play D&D. i spent an entire summer at the library practically memorzing RPG books, including this. To this day I could probably run a 2nd Ediiton AD&D game from memory, aside from my intense hatred of THAC0.

    I dunno about Liam, but McKellan is the gayest gay.

    Sure, he talks all mighty and badass when he's playing Gandalf or Magneto, but the moment he steps out of character he goes into gigantic fag mode. It makes the LOTR bloopers pretty funny.

    The one thing I never understood about TMNT Tournament Fighters was the character selection

    I mean yeah the turtles and Shredder are there, and I'll give them Wingnut and Chrome Dome because I remember seeing Wingnut in an episode of the cartoon and I had the Chrome Dome action figure

    But who the hell are the ninja girl and the horrible purple thing and the giant shark guy, and why can't I play as Bebop or Rocksteady or Casey Jones

    Or hell, even Krang

    Krang was not even in the game at all

    At least the hidden bosses (Rat King and Karai) were actual characters

    The ninja girl was completely made up for the game.

    BUT.

    Wingnut, Chrome Dome, WAR (the giant purple thing), and the "Shark Guy" are all from the comics.

    I know that they were all in the Archie Series run of TMNT but they may have showed up earlier.

    Several were from their "Mutanimals" run, War was from a series featuring the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and the shark is from an awesome series reaching far into the future.

    It was drawn and written to appeal to the cartoon audience but the writing was much better, aimed more at teens, and some of the situations they got into were pretty out there, rivaling some of the stuff from the original comic.
