So I'm starting to believe that this game's biggest pro is its biggest con.
It relies heavily on community.
If you're on a low population server or on during the middle of the night, chances are you're going to have a hell of a boring time - it's only you and 3 other people. On the other hand though, if you find yourself on a high population server, or with a decent sleeping pattern, you'll have a blast with the scenarios, public quests and the community in general.
You see, this is where I am torn, because I love this element of the game but loathe it just as well.
I am an insomniac so this doesn't really bode well for me.

you don't need to apply to get in to tsm, just say you are from pa. you need to make an account on the tsm forums before the third of october though.

Great, Mythic is all "If you headstart didn't get extended contact your retailer" and Amazon just says the same thing in reverse.
That pretty much sums it up. We're not SUPER fragile, but we're not exactly meant to stand around and take hits, just go in and get out the damage fast enough that we kill before we get killed. It works most of the time!
But yeah, like against a Chosen, it's definitely important to know who you're going toe-to-toe with before you step up. The thing that's helped me the most against chosen is just sending in my lion for a bit before I ever jump in.
It's just whenever there is a scenario, I see white lions trying to tank with the ironbreakers a lot. That and they appear to have more survivability than witch hunters. I mean fuck, a witch hunter can be a real prick but white lions just need a good whack or three and they are sprinting to their healers.
Our Magus class lead, at level 20, averages about 95-100k damage per scenario.
for real? Sigh, maybe I'll stick with it after all. At least enough to get to T2 seems only fair, and realistically doesn't require much actual playtime.
Shaman seem to have the edge towards survivability, in my opinion.
Also, it's weird bein' the only people that 3, sometimes 2, man Battle Objectives, especially when the opposing force that's taking it all back are three Shaman, two Black Orcs, and a Sorceress
it's happened so often that it makes me wonder if that's a reasonable representation of the current ratio on our server.

Usually it takes forever for a person to kill my WL, and I can run around at the frontlines for a long while
I have tanked 5 people without healing support for a good while as well. I have tons of HP for a MDPS. I think it is because I always choose the +toughness and + wounds on my gear though.
What I'm trying to say here is that even if you beat me it's going to take a long time to do so, and it is one of the reasons I love the WL. But yeah, we're not good against tanks. The only anti-armor ability I've got so far is from my pet and I can never ever rely on my pet to do exactly what I want when I want it

I run around with a rapier and a flintlock, and have abilities with names like 'Burn, Heretic!' and 'Get Thee Behind Me'.
It's just such a satisfying class to play when I set someone on fire.

I need to know somthing.
What...in the blue hell....is the Pet attack command line for macros because my god I need it so badly.
Also for those who don't know.
You can rename your pet via /pet and then your name for it.
I learned that while trying the pet macro from WoW.
