Ooh, February would be neat! We could all play in the Snow! (you can't hear it right now, but I'm "eek"ing with pure, unadulterated joy!) Bring your winter coats!
I can't picture anything better than having a 50,000 person snow fortress snowball fight in the fields of Boston Common.
Hmmm, wiki says I'm wrong. Oh man, depending on your definition of late March (i.e., if it's the second to last weekend rather than the last), I could have a PAX birthday! I think it's more likely to be the 26th - 28th though.

If it's Feb, any chance for a reverse CCST just went right out the window
Nothing really. It's a bit more humid in New England that time of year, but in truth it's not horrible. It's not like, say, the deep South in terms of humidity. At least as far as I can remember, it has been many years since I've lived there.
Maybe someone currently in Boston can give a more accurate assessment of the humidity level in June, and whether it's actually annoying or not?
And SlickShughes, I was trying to keep it positive! lol I want a PAX snowball fight!

I have worries about the east coast pax. I worry I can't afford both. However, I don't think that will be too much of a problem since there was way too many this year and there will be next year.

Another reason to visit an area I've never been to? Works for me.
I'm saying a pair of things: don't use your own car to drive to Boston, and making a joke on the line "I wouldn't fuck her with YOUR dick" as applied to Lindsay Lohan.

You act like hotels don't have parking. If I paid $33 a night to park my car in Seattle, I'll do the same (or similar) in Boston. It's not like I plan on driving around town for a weekend. After 2 days of driving, the last thing I want to do is sit in a car.

Man, you are taking this pretty seriously. All I am saying is that parking and driving in Boston is fairly difficult for those that don't know.
I kinda wish they had chosen a location for East Coast PAX that wasn't also wedged up near a corner of the U.S. Somewhere a little more central along the East Coast, like a Virginia location, would really have been more convenient for more people, at least as far as making travel arrangements.

edit: well then, still march is sketchy
Well... okay, the mountains might be a bit rough...
Okay, I see what you mean. =(
You do realize this is Massachusetts we're talking about, right VT? You lived in NH, you know how it is.

for boston PAX? I'd imagine that having the cons 2-3 months apart with all the planning it entails would be cutting things a bit too close for comfort
having them almost 6 months apart gives them much more breathing room and I'd imagine it also helps them build more interest in each even separately
just my thoughts
So yeah, PAX Seattle is safe.

Still, I'll be there for sure.
Of course, who the fuck would want to visit Pennsylvania? The state is despair in geographic form.
haha good point
Khoo has made it clear they want to expand. They will do it semi-annually instead of annually. I figure they have enough pull to do it semi-annually.
That would make me very sad. I would love a reverse CCST!
