House broken into: 2 Laptops Stolen

I just got the call from my mother that our house has been broken into and 2 of our laptops were stolen. Next Actions:

1. Call the Police
2. Don't tamper with the crime scene?


any and all advice would be greatly appreciated in this situation. I really have no idea what else there is to do.

    Yeah, call the police, try not to move too much around, and make a list of everything thats stolen. Try contacting any home owner's insurance if you have it.
