Cablecard

My computer has a tv tuner in it and my cable company offers cablecards. I ordered the cablecard not realizing that my computer doesn't necessarily have a cable card reader. Anyone have any ideas or leads on a reader. I don't mind buying a new tuner card if I have to, but I'd like to get everything integrated.

Consumer versions of CableCARD-ready tuner cards aren't available yet. Some PC manufacturers have them, but you won't find any in stores.

I believe the problem is that the Cable companies have lobbied it so that all CableCARD-ready devices are certified so you don't do anything the cable company doesn't want to do. For a computer, that means the whole computer - not just the video board. So if your computer was not certified when you bought it, it's pretty unlikely that it will ever work with the CableCARD.
