Hey guys.
I'm having troubles using my college's wireless connection on my Macbook Pro. It sees the network fine (it's a public, non-password protected network. Only thing you have to do before being able to browse is log in to this access page once you're connected), and it even connects to it fine. Problem is, once I log in, I can only load pages for about 20 seconds. After that, any page I try to access just hangs on loading, until Safari throws up an error saying it couldn't connect to the site (but my airport still shows that I'm connected with excellent signal strength). Every time this happens, I'll either turn my airport off then on again, or renew my DHCP lease, and it will work for roughly another 20 seconds, then will start hanging again.
No one else is experiencing this issue, including a dude near me on an identical macbook pro, and I was even able to connect and surf no problems on my iPod Touch.
Strange thing is, this has only been happening the last few times I brought it to school. Last week everything was working without a hitch. Also, I'm having no troubles with my home wireless network, which I'm posting from now.
What could this be a sign of? I'm going to an apple store tomorrow to buy some stuff, but I doubt they'd be able to do anything if I took my laptop in. It doesn't sound like a hardware issue, since it's working fine elsewhere. I would have thought it could be a proxy issue or something, but I haven't changed any settings, and it was working fine last week.
Thanks very much in advance for any help.
