What exactly was it? It looked like a cross between Planetside and Anarchy Online.

A pity. There's so much generic fantasy shit that some sci-fi is a breath of fresh air. Too bad the gameplay apparently wasn't.

You guys should read the TR thread. It was lacking on content after the early levels and had some QOL issues, especially with the grouping system, but the gameplay was actually very fun.

It's a shame, because the game world was interesting, and the combat had some neat ideas, but in the end it was just very shallow. It has some really innovative and progressive ideas (like the cloning thing), but in the end, it didn't have enough depth of game play to hold subscribers I guess. I was just wondering the other day how TR was doing. I guess now I know.

I knew there was something wrong when the 3 copies of the Collector's Edition in my GameStop got marked down to $10.

The gameplay was fun, but quickly got stale.

I agree with what was said earlier about sci-fi. I mean, I fantasy is good and all but its hard to find a good land based sci fi mmo.

I tried Anarchy online and wasn't satisfied.

I tried TR at Pax and was impressed but I don't have the rig to run it. I should jump on the demo real quick, huh?

If the Guild vs Guild PvP was in at launch I think TR could have found a strong nitch group because daaaamn did it sound fun.

From the other stuff on Kotaku it doesn't sound like TR is being shut down, though.

I have a source close to NCSoft that confirmed TR is fine and dandy. Besides, one of their own developers talked to Massively and said they're not shutting down.

Figured it was just the same old rumor. It would be nice if NCSoft would put more devs on the game because I think it has legs if they just get some more content in.
