Finally, the secrets of this year’s most talked about event can be revealed! Witness how Darkseid's death shattered the Multiverse, creating continuity ripples throughout the DC Universe! Submit to Darkseid and read the full Anti-Life Equation! This is a book you cannot resist to buy!
Really? The years of Superboy wall-punching jokes didn't teach you guys? Although I guess Darkseid dying would make more sense, but really, anything would.
The Teen Titans cover is the worst thing I've seen in a while, although I like all the characters on the cover (except for Bombshell and Supergirl). I don't see them working (well) as a team, though
Wasn't the reason for Young Justice's roster being abruptly dismissed due primarily to Didio deciding the Titans shouldn't be a bunch of C-list nobodies, and instead be more like a junior JLA?
What happened to that?
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather see the more quirky teen heroes, (where the fuck is Vulcan, McKeever?) but Titans has been becoming more and more of a fringe title, rather than one of DC's premiere books. And isn't Ray Terrill still on the Freedom Fighters?
So when a Super Hero conspiracy plot is brought to light, the Vigilante returns to find the traitor and mete out his own brand of justice – with extreme prejudice!
Canceled in 8 issues.
Also, it's cool that Teen Titans' roster is getting shaken up, but pretty lame that McKeever is still on things.

Apparently it's just a recruitment drive, so we won't have to see them all.
All these recruitment issues bore me. What happened to the good old days, when teams were formed from the random bunch of people who showed up for a fight in the first issue?

James Robinson agrees with you.
Although he ragged on Meltzer's JLA for doing it, even though by the end of the arc, it was all undone and everyone who was around to fight Amazo joined the team.
The Haunted Tank has potential. Took me a minute to realize the ghost is twirling his mustache though. I thought he was holding something up to his ear.
I really wish someone would grab the fucking reins of Teen Titans and make it worth reading again. I really miss the team from the Johns issues. Everything post-IC has felt pretty worthless.

Huh? Around the World is probably my favourite arc from Johns' run and that was post-IC.
Didn't Johns recently say that he'd like to write Teen Titans again? I'm guessing it'll be like the Flash, we'll suffer with McKeever for a while but DC will eventually give the series back to Johns.
As for the 'continuity bump', I'm pretty sure it's not just another Superboy Prime punch sort of thing. Morrison's said:
IGN Comics: When you say it's the day that evil wins, and when fans hear the words Crisis or "apocalypse" attached to any project, it's easy to assume the story will include some sort of reboot or wholesale changes to continuity. But that's not the case with Final Crisis, right?
Morrison: No, it's not going to be that at all. That sort of stuff is what people do when they need to fix continuity, and we don't need to do that here, because we have a very strong basis to work with. Everyone knows who the DC characters are and where they come from. The book is more about trying to tell a big, epic story of DC to a regular audience. So we're kind of not so much trying for the fanboy audience, as much as I love those guys, and there are a lot of Easter eggs and things in there for people who have been reading the books for a long time. But if that guy gives it to a friend - - we want it to be seen as this huge DC Universe story that everyone across the world who doesn't recognize these characters can understand and enjoy.
So no, it's not about servicing that aspect of the business, where we're trying to set things right and fill in continuity gaps. I don't care about that stuff. Continuity gaps are always going to happen, because these stories and characters stretch over decades. It's never going to all fit together. I think to make stories about fitting together elements of continuity isn't always the best route. It's not going to be one of those Superboy punches or some special machine that sets everything back to the beginning or deals with the devil. None of that stuff.
I'm guessing it'll be on a smaller scale. Maybe something to retrict all the constant travel around the multiverse?
I'm kind of amazed DC got Quitely to do a cover for an obvious fill-in issue of BoP.
The usual stuff looks good; Booster Gold, Blue Beetle (but damn this arc looks like it's going to drag out), Manhunter, and so on. Only new thing really catching my eye is JLA. Between the Dr. Light that Brad Meltzer didn't fuck up, and Hardware, I may need to pick it up.
And that DCU Holiday Special cover is laughably cheap.
“This Was Your Life, Wally West” concludes! As Flash stands alone without his powers or family to support him, only one question remains – is this end of the Fastest Man Alive?

I guess that's when he'll get his new heroic identity, then?
I only ever liked Flash for his Rogues. As far as speedsters go, I prefer Impulse and Quicksilver because I feeltheir personalities stand out more and are more in line with what one would expect from someone with that powerset, but maybe I'm just not reading the right Flash stories.
I don't want him dead. Nor do I want his solo comic to suck. Both are just a reoccurring tragedy of the book.
Geoff Johns.
Mark Waid.
Mark Waid relaunched the current series and it was ho-hum. He wrote great Flash before, but there's too much editorial interference with the book currently

I agree that the relaunch was pretty bleh, but man his previous run was fantastic.

I mean, it's kind of disappointing that they have to get Geoff Johns to save the character, but they also give him free reign over pretty much whatever he wants now and he definitely knows how to write the Flash

When Wally first took over as Flash after CoIE, he had a really fun personality. He was kind of a douche, had a public identity, charged for his services, and then later won the lottery and bought a mansion, becoming even more of a douche. At the time, the dude could out-Booster Booster Gold.

I care about Robin, doesn't mean I like it when McKeever writes him

Dragon's Dogma: 192 Warrior Linty | 80 Strider Alicia | 32 Mage Terra
WTF?
I don't think so. That's not Anarky's style
It's the cover for Ambush Bug: Year None #6. I imagine it'll be colored, though
