Strange and urgent problem, please help

My computer has some serious issues that my support doesn't seem to be able to handle. A while ago it just decided to not start one day, giving me a blue screen (bios incompatible with ACPI, see hardware-update.org etc etc.). Then after it had been shut down for a few minutes it started normally again and run with no problems. Same thing again next time it started up, sometimes it works after letting it "cool down" for a few minutes, most often it doesn't work. When it does start it seems to be able to restart infinite amount of times though.
Then after a few days it just decided to totally die on me.
So I turned it in to the store, paid ~80 $ and they basically said that they did nothing except replace the boot files and that everything else worked fine. It worked fine for a few weeks but now I clicked on a windows update and got a bluescreen, then it refused to start. Please help?
I fear that if I shut it down it won't start up again and it doesn't even seem to want to boot of a cd so then I have no way to fix it again.
Edit: And I really can't afford to pay 160 $ a month to get it to run.

Which one do I install first?
Edit: Flashed the bios, it booted up properly so I guess that was a success. Still haven't had an extended downtime so I don't know if that fixed the problem or not.
