Sometimes my skin will get real itchy in patches, if I scratch it I get red blotches where I scratched it. It happens when my body temperature changes, like when I run, lift weights or sometimes walking around it will happen but most often if it is cold outside and I walk inside with a jacket on it will happen.
I read somewhere that it could be related to fish but I rarely eat fish and it happens if I haven't had any fish for a long time. Anyone have any ideas? Next time it happens I will try to make note of what my skin looks like if I don't scratch it, its just so common I accepted it as normal but after asking around no one else has this problem that I know.
Probably just good ol' fashioned hives. Please be aware that IANAD and this is just a guess, but it fits the bill.
Also strangely enough I have been breaking out all day as well, so it could just be that this is on my mind. Either way doesn't sound serious, and any antihistamine usually clears it up pretty well. But again, be vigilant that it's not something more serious.
