Patient had a particular kind of leprosy. House goes to Wilson, says he's sorry, didn't mean for it to happen but doesn't want Wilson to hate him because of what happened.

Wilson says he doesn't hate House, tried to but couldn't, but basically blames himself for constantly enabling House (if he wasn't always rushing around trying to help House, House would have been on the bus by himself). They're not ok. They're not really friends, and may never really have been friends.

Wilson walks out of his office with all his stuff in a box

Man, that's not what was happening at all. He saw everyone stagnating and he was trying to provoke them into working by acting like House. It just wasn't working is all. Take every line he had and have House say it and you have a completely normal House abuse session but with no one responding to it.

Well,

For most of the each episode, it could be argued that House is pretty useless as well.

This might be insane and completely wrong, but:

Maybe Wilson lied and he actually is mad at House. Maybe he is really pissed off and found the best way to do as much damage as he can- by taking away House's only real friendship.

the dude who played the detective is a friend of zach braff's on some level, he was in Garden State, some other movie Braff was in, and on Scrubs I think more than once. I was weary when they showed him just because based on what I've seen of him I wasn't sure how he'd fit into the show, but I thought it was great.

I did fuck up tonight, however, and after joking with my mom about her falling asleep, I passed out before the final segment or two. I hate when I do that. got it dvr'd though, hopefully.

Anyways, I just finished the first season of House like a week ago, so I have tremendous catching up to do.

new seasons starts tonight for me! i've only seen season one and most of season four. Also for some reason they stopped House in the middle of a two part episode, and I have no idea what season that was from (two or three), so I am infuriated by that.

Hehe. I'm so not used to watching shows when they actually are on TV. I forgot how much I hate commercials. I'm forced to confess that I might be depressed or something because I thought House s1 and s2 were awesome. I though Heroes s1 was awesome. Same with Terminator: TSCC. I actually liked s1 and most of s2 of Grey's Anatomy. Likewise Nip/Tuck. Hell. I liked a lot of crappy TV a couple years ago. Now, everything seems to suck and so I'm forced to face the possibility that it might be me.

Edit: I did like the new character

I think I'm going through this. Not with these same shows, but looking at my DVD collection on my shelf, two of the four shelves are now comprised of TV show seasons. Old shows I was too young for, shows that I missed when they came around, shows I'm getting caught up on (like this)...deciding what to watch certain nights is pretty overwhelming.

The phone rings in the surgery room and Chase learns that it's House, and just gives up and says, "uhh, wake him up, we're done."

I wasn't sold on this season until last night. I think it's Taub. I really like Taub. 13 just seems bland and uninteresting to me. I'd hit it like the fist of a wrathful god, sure, but I think the character is easily one of my least favorites on television.

was it simply a problem with the car, or the fact that she kept it a secret - I didn't quite catch all of House's nagging and doubt-casting

Also, I thought Taub was divorced? What was his story with the cosmetic surgery clinic again?
