Ghost Rider, for giving me the biggest set of blue balls ever
And Punisher MAX for still being better than the Ennis run
And finally is the War Machine: Weapon Of SHIELD arc the lead-in to the title-change?
Because after flipping through it I want it to be true pretty badly
Basically, Tony has an automated message set up for Jim in the event that something really bad happens, and the invasion qualifies
So Jim flies to a space station that Tony had kept cloaked and off the books
He plugs his armor into said station
And the fucking station transforms into a giant suit of armor

Isnt that a bit like Iron Man Mark 6 from Ultimates?
Oh it is so fucking rad man it is so fucking rad
Is the title changing from Iron Man to War Machine because I'll get it if it is
But I have a hard time getting a book for just one arc because then I want to see what's next etc
And next thing you know I've bought the book for three years and I'm like "this sucks why did I start this again"
EDIT For the dude above me
Not really. Iron Man mark 6 was just a big fucking station with guns right
This is like a giant robot
This is a fucking Transformer with the cockpit and Jim as the head
Did anyone else get the Batman and the Outsiders RIP crossover issue?
Was it just me, or did it seem like there was a plot gap somewhere? Obviously its a new writer and all that, but somehow the book just didn't gel with me. I sort of felt like we need another issue of Batman before this issue would make sense. I dunno. I didn't much like it.
And Punisher MAX for still being better than the Ennis run
pfffffffahahahaahha
I dig this guy a lot more than even my favorite Ennis arcs
Mother Russia and Long Cold Dark were great
But something that's not just KILL FUCK DIE MAIM REPEAT is a nice change of pace and the dude knows what he's doing

Although the ending was rather...huh?
Well, it's post-RIP, and we don't know how RIP ends so, yeah, I imagine it is pretty confusing.
Also, Dixon was kicked off and that dude who wrote Underground (awful) was shoved in, and I imagine that doesn't help.
It made me sad to open X-Factor and see the good art on the recap page, and then flip ahead and see Larry "Everyone Looks Like Ron Pearlman On Beauty and the Beast Except With a Huge Ass" Stroman was still pencilling it.
Anyhow, some good stuff this week.
In Atomic Robo, Robo has been tasked with assisting Allied troops during the 1943 invasion of Sicily. His mission? To destroy the Laufpanzers, Germany's so-called walking tanks. It could be going better.
In Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam, Theo Adam, one-time champion of the wizard Shazam, has returned to Earth. He's begun engaging in petty delinquency in an attempt to coerce Billy Batson to tell him the magic word that will unleash Black Adam.
Really, Mike Kunkel's animation-influenced art is completely selling this book for me. All the little exaggerated faces and smooth transitions from one moment to another are just great. And it's only $2.25! If you're the kind of person that can enjoy all-ages books like Bone, there's no reason not to pick it up. And if you happen to be digging it, be sure to check out Kunkel's Herobear and the Kid.
Secret Invasion: Thor #2 was overall pretty great, and Nick Fury was all sorts of badass in Mighty Avengers.
Let me know when Thor stops being awesome! I couldn't be happier with how Marvel is finally giving him his due.
Oh man, just finished SI:Thor. All kinds of awesome, Beta Ray Bill was badass, I loved the part with the firefighters. All in all it was a freaking awesome issue.

I didn't like Valley Forge that much
It was a nice way to wrap up the whole thing but I was very eh on it
This is a very nice change of pace, still dark, still violent, but driven by more of a plot than say Mother Russia
Mother Russia went
Get into base
Get out of base
Frank fucks up the generals' plans
THE END

You should read his novels. His description of the biker house in Troubleshooter is fucking spectacular.
He and another author who were announced as coming in after Ennis were authors I hadn't read. So as soon as I read about it, I checked out some of their books. Marvel picked some crazy awesome people to follow Ennis.
Do you know what my secret dream is for Punisher?
I want Charlie Huston on this bitch
The guy wrote one of my favorite stories of all time: Moon Knight's "The Bottom"

I seem to recall reading that they couldn't say he would, but they couldn't say he wouldn't either.
Do you know how many dicks I'd suck for one issue of his Punisher?
All of them
The first issue of Moon Knight is one of my favorite issues ever, not counting the older stuff that I scrounge in second-hand places for
Not a single word spoken out loud, all in Marc's head
And that last page, of him kneeling in front of the statue, broken
Damn

You should go and read his prose stuff then. I actually found him first through his books and then continued with MK.
Check out his website at pulpnoir.com He has a neat little story going on currently.

Whoops, should've put this here.
Also, that spoiler was too tempting not to click. I am a huge sucker for moments like that, so I can't wait to see it for myself.

Yeah, it was slightly abrupt in issue form, but I loved
and the last page made me all misty and stuff. In strictly manly, hetero fashion, of course.
Grabbing that bitch next week

Likewise.
The harder the rain, honey, the sweeter the sun.
god damn
I suppose the decision to have the series continue on made that impossible, though.

Give the man an excuse.
And he'll probably take it.

Money, or Huston on Punisher
Also to that other guy, where can I find the story on Huston's site
'attaboy. Play hardball.

And I'd suck Stan Lee's dick for free on principle
I guess it's just a matter of finding the right ones.

I need a reason
Unless it's Stan
